Cookie Policy

Last updated 15 October 2026.

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We only use cookies that are not strictly necessary if you agree to them, and you can change your mind at any time.

Always on

  • Your cookie choice. We remember whether you accepted or declined cookies, in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask on every page. It holds nothing else.

Only if you accept

  • Google Analytics (cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, kept for up to two years) helps us see how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. The information is grouped and does not identify you.
  • Meta Pixel (cookies named _fbp and fr, kept for up to three months) tells us whether our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to visits and enquiries, and lets us show our adverts to people who have visited this site.
  • ResDiary table booking. The booking form on our restaurant page comes from ResDiary and sets its own cookies, so it only loads once you accept, or when you choose to show it. You can always book on ResDiary’s own page instead.

Forms and booking pages

  • VenueFlow forms and calendar. Our wedding enquiry form, brochure request and viewing calendar are provided by VenueFlow. They may use cookies to make the form work, for example to keep your answers while you fill it in.
  • Guestline. When you book a room, you move to Guestline’s booking page, which has its own cookie policy.

Changing your mind

Use the button at the top of this page, or the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Questions? Email frontdesk@hartnollhotel.co.uk.
